Beyond words…

Perplexity.ai:
Galatians 3:2 asks…

This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

In context, Paul’s point is that the Spirit is received through hearing with faith, not by legal works.

Holger:
Thinking itself doesn’t remove the veil towards the kingdom, but a little gentle brave thinking can relax us into a receptive heart-posture:

“Works of the law” = thinking, conceptualizing.

“Hearing of faith” = effortless being, prior to mind.

To dis-cover what is really important:

“thy grace is my sufficiency”,

“the peace that passeth understanding”,

“I am with you always”.

Too many words 🤣

In hindsight it is so simple and obvious, but invested in “me” as a personal-doer seemingly needing to survive in “this world” I didn’t see the cocktail of faulty thinking and muscle-memory (blame, shame and embarrassment) that kept me stuck.

Our default mode of thinking, rather than being, creates unhappiness and lack.

Thinking is a useful and necessary tool, but assuming that I am the thinker is missing the mark.

I am not what I think I am! [but who hears this?]

Peace,
Holger@Heart-Posture.com
